Monroe's Motivated Sequence
Monroe’s Motivated Sequence (MMS) is an organizational pattern used to develop a sense of want or need in the audience, satisfy that want or need, and to help the audience get enthused about the advantages of that solution. Nearly every infomercial uses Monroe’s Motivated Sequence.

Infomercial task
Task: Working individually or with a partner, create a 2-3 minute infomercial style presentation which uses Monroe's Motivated Sequence. Submit a individual written outline in which you identify and discuss each step of Monroe's Motivated Sequence included in the infomercial.
1.Develop a product (or improve an existing product) you think would be beneficial for the audience. It must be realistic, no invisibility powder or mind reading apps.
2. Plan the infomercial using Monroe’s Motivated Sequence:
3. Complete the planning outline (on Google Classroom) to be sure each element of MMS is included.
4. Prepare a 2-3 minute infomercial style presentation.
5.The infomercial should include a mock-up of the product. The product may be 3-D or may be a professional style graphic. You should include marketing/ advertising such as a brand name, logo, etc.
6.Think about infomercials you have seen on TV. Have fun with this assignment. Be creative. You may use any presentation style (demonstrations, volunteers, PowerPoint, music, etc.) Show me that you put some original thought, creativity, and effort into your presentation.
