Informative Speech Guidelines
As your final for Advanced Speech, you will deliver a 6-8 minute informative speech incorporating research from a minimum of 3 sources and speaker support.
The purpose of your presentation is to inform (add to audience’s existing knowledge) - NOT persuade- us about your topic. Our topics will be drawn from our academic content: law, law professions, courts, legal current events, or law enforcement. Choose something you are interested in learning more about or are passionate about. Keep in mind that if you pick a topic your audience already knows a lot about, you have not fulfilled the requirement to inform. Citing aloud the sources of your information is required for this assignment; choose credible sources of information. Use the links on our Weebly homepage to get your research started.

Attribute your research to your sources in your speech. "According to . . . " / " . . . states . . ."
